Our keynote speaker, Stan Gruszynski, Wisconsin Representative to the Democratic National Committee, is a dynamic and entertaining speaker. We anticipate a fun-filled evening.
Honored GuestsWaukesha Mayor Larry Nelson and Joe Wineke, Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, will also be our honored guests and we are awaiting confirmation from several other elected officials.
Presidential CandidatesWe have invited all the presidential candidates. The John Edwards campaign is showing the most interest. Our chances will improve if we can provide their schedulers with a list of local endorsements. If you are willing to publicly support the John Edwards Candidacy at this time, please reply to this email specifying that you are endorsing John Edwards for the Presidential Democratic Primary.
If you are a strong supporter of another presidential candidate and willing to help recruit them to this event, please reply to this email with the candidate's name and you connection to their campaign.
Nelson/Proxmire Award
This new Annual Nelson/Proxmire Event on August 3rd honors Democratic leaders in the tradition of Gaylord Nelson and William Proxmire. During our program we will be presenting the Nelson/Proxmire Award to Rick Congdon based his 2004 rejuvenation of the local party and his years of service to the organization.

We will be holding a raffle at the dinner. If you have items that you would like to donate to the raffle. Examples might be tickets you hold to events you know you can't attend, political books, political nostalgia, etc. Reply to this email and let us know what you have.

Call to reserve at 262 439-9424. Include phone number and menu selection.-or-Send a donation to Waukesha County Democratic Party, 1726 S. West Ave., 53189. Include phone number and menu selection for each member of your party. We will need your employer name with your donation.-or-Instructions for ordering tickets on online at WaukeshaDems.org:

- At the bottom of the story, in the 'contribute' box, enter the correct dollar amount and click on contribute button.
- After you have made your donation, you'll be asked to invite a friend to contribute.
